Gameplay has changed quite a bit too. The campaign has been given a more open level design, less linear maps and 4-player co-op, as well as customization, progression systems and a Realistic difficulty that means that, if you get shot once, you're dead. Multiplayer gets a new freerunning system with jump packs, as well as Specialist soldiers that can be unlocked midway through matches and a Paintshop feature that allows players to create skins for their guns. Lastly, Zombies gets an XP progression system.
The annoyingly-titled Need for Speed launches for PS4 and Xbox One on Tuesday in North America and Thursday in Europe, and marks Ghost Games' return to the franchise. It's set in the fictional city of Ventura Bay (Based on LA) and has 5 different gameplay types: Speed, Style, Crew, Build and Outlaw, as well as 5 different overarching storylines and plenty of vehicle customization.
