The Week Ahead!

The summer games drought is coming to a close, and the games have started flooding back in, the most notable one coming out this week being Volume, the next game from Thomas Was Alone creator Mike Bithell, which comes out worldwide on Tuesday for the PS4, PS Vita, PC and Mac. It's a modern retelling of Robin Hood, in which Robert Locksley (Voiced by YouTuber charlieissocoollike) finds an AI device called Volume (Played by Thomas Was Alone narrator Danny Wallace) that allows him to broadcast crime simulations on the Internet, much to the dismay of villain Guy Gisborne (Voiced by Andy Serkis) the ruler of England. The gameplay is heavily inspired by Metal Gear Solid, with the game having stealth elements. The guards have patrols and vision cones, and it's your job to get through these simulations unseen.

Also coming out is Zombi, the PS4, PC and Xbox One port of previous Wii U launch title ZombiU, launches on Tuesday. It adds a couple new melee weapons and some new flashlight mechanics, but takes away the local multiplayer mode. Smite gets a port to the Xbox One on Wednesday, while Trine 3: Artifacts of Power launches in full on Thursday, transitioning the series to 3D platforming.
