Poll Results

Last week, I asked you all if you thought that 2014 was a great year for games, or whether it's lacked the blockbusters that the last couple of years have had. The results are in, and 100% of you thought that this year's been lacklustre compared to others.

I would disagree: there have been plenty of great games this year, they've just been overshadowed by the huge marketing budgets of Destiny, every Ubisoft game released this year and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. So many silent hits have come out this year: Sportsfriends has an amazing selection of local multiplayer games, the awe and insanity of Titanfall seems to have... fallen for no apparent reason, and games like Strider and Wolfenstein: The New Order have all been given the silent treatment. This year's been great, even better (Arguably) than last year, but you'd be forgiven if you thought that only Destiny, Assassin's Creed and Call of Duty were the only AAA blockbusters of the year.

There's a new poll up, so make sure to vote for your favourite console of the year!
