Want Some Money? Be In A Slingshot Test!

Don't worry, it's not as bad as it sounds!

Facebook propaganda news today, as the social networking behemoth are offering $200 (£118) to users who want to test out their new Slingshot app, Sky News noticed. Zuckerburg and co. are probably resorting to this after the bad rep that the company has gotten in the last couple of months, what with their app being taken down after it failed grandly and the fact that they were secretly testing users and filtering what came through their newsfeed. I mean, playing with our emotions isn't that bad, right?

(I was being sarcastic)

Anyways, Facebook aren't just letting in any desperate teenager and giving them money. Anyone who's willing to get free money will need to fill out a survey on the Slingshot blog first, then a certain amount of people will be chosen for the program. You'll be involved in the tests for 3 months, but you'll only have to actually give feedback and test out the app's features for 1-2 hours every week. It's unknown when or how users will get their money and how they'll get it, but if you want an easy hundred or two, why not test an app that'll fail anyway?

What do you guys think? With user feedback, will Slingshot be able to fend off Snapchat? Tell us in the comments below!
